How can we help you?
Answers to the most frequent questions, by theme.
Getting started
Where should I start?
Take the placement test: a few questions are enough to suggest a level. Then follow that level's path and practice with the exercises.
Do I need an account?
Not to read: lessons, dialogues, vocabulary, conjugation and grammar are open to all. An account keeps your corrected exercises, history, points, favorites and level.
What do A1, A2… C2 mean?
They are the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), from beginner (A1) to mastery (C2). The site also offers a path following French school grades.
Your account
I did not receive the confirmation e-mail.
Check your spam folder. From your account, you can ask for a new e-mail: the link is valid for 48 hours and replaces the previous one.
I forgot my password.
Ask for a reset link: it arrives by e-mail and stays valid for 30 minutes. For your security, the page does not say whether the address has an account.
My sign-in is blocked.
After ten wrong passwords, sign-in is blocked for 15 minutes. Wait, then try again; if you forgot it, ask for a new password.
How do I sign out from another device?
The Sessions page lists the devices signed in to your account: close the one you do not recognize. If in doubt, also change your password.
How do I delete my account?
From the deletion page, by confirming with your password. Deletion is immediate and erases your progress.
Learning
How are exercises corrected?
Multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions are corrected automatically, one by one. With an account, each attempt joins your history, with its score and the details of your answers.
How do I earn points?
By submitting an exercise, passing it and completing a lesson. The Points page details the scale and your gains.
What are favorites for?
The “Save” button or the star keeps a dialogue, a lesson, a word or an article: you will find it in your favorites.
How do I change the language?
The language switcher, at the top of the page, shows the site in French, English or Arabic. Content that is not translated yet appears in another language, with a notice.
A problem?
I found a mistake in some content.
