Conjugation rule

Simple future of double-consonant verbs (jeter)

Conjugation rule for the “-eler and -eter verbs doubling the consonant” pattern.

Explanation

The stem is the infinitive without -er (jeter → jet-). The endings added to it are -erai, -eras, -era, -erons, -erez, -eront. A spelling change applies in every person: the final stem consonant is doubled (jet- → jett-).
